How to Archive or Disconnect Students
In order to release student licenses, you will need to archive or disconnect student accounts that are no longer in use. Please follow the steps below to find out how.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Log into your account here:
Step 1
Click on the Everything menu and select Classroom.


Step 2
Click on the class you want to archive students in and click on the Students tab.


Step 3
Click on the More Options (...) by the student's account that you would like to archive and select Archive.
Please note: Removing a student from a class does not release the student license for incoming students.


Step 4
Click on Archive to proceed.

Step 5
If you have already removed student accounts from a class, you can archive them from the main Students page. Click on the Everything menu and select Classroom from the dropdown.


Step 6
Click on the Students tab.

Step 7
Click on the More Options (...) menu by the student's name you would like to archive.

Step 8
Click on Archive Student to archive the student account.

Step 9
You can view your archived students by clicking on the Everything menu, selecting Classroom, clicking on the Students tab and then clicking on Archived.





Step 10
Clicking on the More Options (...) menu by the archived student will allow you to disconnect the student account completely from your teacher account.


Step 11
To return a student to your active student list, select Restore Student from the More Options (...) menu.
