Matching Task
Matching is a vocabulary preview or review task for matching words or phrases with definitions. Work on this task with your students or assign it to your class(es)!

Step 1
Click Launch Tasks from the lesson overview page.
Step 2
Look for the Matching task(s) on the left-hand side, and click Start.
Step 3
View the instructions at the top. Use the hamburger menu to close the tasks. You can use the same button to bring the tasks list back.
Step 4
To begin the task, click a word at the top, and click the space you’d like to place it.
You can also drag and drop the word to the space you’d like.
Step 5
Once you have finished the task, click Done. You can work on this task in person, or share your screen and work with your students online.

To view the answer key for the task, click the grey apple next to the task.
