Picture Dictionary (Flashcard Set) Task
Learn how our Picture Dictionary task works! Students can use images and words to preview, or review vocabulary.
Find this task in these sections:
Step 1
Click Launch Tasks from the lesson overview page.
Step 2
Look for the Picture Dictionary task on the left-hand side, and click Start.
Step 3
View the instructions at the top, and use the hamburger button to close the tasks list. Use the same button to bring them back.
Step 4
The buttons at the bottom are how you control the pictures. Click play to listen to the audio.
The first button shows only the image.
The second button shows both the image, and the word.
The third button shows only the word.
Step 5
Use the arrows at the bottom to go through the pictures. Ask your students questions about the images, or simply learn and review them online, or in person.
Step 6
Once you are done, click Done.
Step 7
You can then try the task again, proceed to the next task, or choose another task from the list.
Step 8
To add this lesson to your class, click Add to class.
