How to Find & Filter CEFR Content
Do you use the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) standards in your classroom? Our lessons will now display a CEFR-equivalent level if you set this level preference in your account settings. See the step-by-step instructions below.
The CEFR equivalencies on Ellii are based on our in-house scale and are subject to change. This scale is also useful for teachers who recognize other levels or standardized tests.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Please follow the instructions below to display CEFR levels for all Ellii lessons.
Step 1
Log in to your account here:
Step 2
Once you’ve logged in successfully, click your name on the top right corner then select Account from the drop-down menu.
Step 3
On your account page, you can see your defaulted level preference under Settings. Please note that CEFR & Ellii will appear by default if you have signed up as a European teacher.
Step 4
To set or change this filter, click the Edit button on the right.
Step 5
Under How do you want lesson levels displayed? select CEFR & Ellii. Click the Update button to finish.
Step 6
You will find the equivalent CEFR level now displayed for each lesson inside of every lesson category (i.e., Famous People).
