How to Choose or Change Your Level Preference

A great way to customize your search for lessons on Ellii is to set your level preference.

All Ellii lessons display generic levels used by teachers worldwide (i.e., pre-beginner to advanced levels). You are also able to set your level preference to display CLB (Canadian Language Benchmarks) and CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) levels.

The CEFR and CLB equivalencies on Ellii are based on our in-house scale and are subject to change. Our Equivalency Scale can also be used by teachers who may recognize other levels or standardized tests.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Please follow the instructions below to manage and update your level preference for Ellii lessons.

Once you’ve logged in successfully, click on your name and then Account in the top right corner.

Step 3

Your level preference will be located under your personal information in Settings. Click the Edit button on the right to change it.

Step 4

You will have the option to select your level preference. Click Update to save.
