How to Use the Recommended Teaching Order Filter
If you are looking over the vast amount of materials on ESL Library and wondering where to start, the Recommended Teaching Order filter may save you some time!
Step-by-Step Instructions
Follow the steps below to locate and use the Recommended Teaching Order filter.
Step 1
Log in to your account here:
Step 2
Click on Materials and select Lessons from the drop-down menu.
Step 3
On the ESL Lesson Categories page, click on any of our lesson categories.
Please note: Not all the categories include this filter.
Step 4
After opening a lesson category, click Select Sort Method and choose Teaching Order to sort the lessons below.
Step 5
Lessons will then sort into their recommended teaching order.
Where is this available?
Here is a list of categories where the Recommended Teaching Order filter is available:
Young Learners & Adult Literacy
Grammar
Everyday English
Academic & Business English
Holidays & Travel
- Holidays & Events (by calendar date)
Note: These categories default to a suggested teaching order (without a filter) because they are serials and need to be taught in the correct order:
- English at Work
- Travel English
- Everyday Idioms 1
- Everyday Idioms 2
- Everyday Idioms 3
- Detective Series 1
- Detective Series 2
