Phasing Out Our Legacy Classes

In 2022 Ellii launched a new style of class based on a Kanban board where you can assign lessons by simply dragging an item from your prepping lane to your teaching lane. It's now the only way you can assign lessons on Ellii if you create a new class. However, for teachers who have been with Ellii since 2022 or prior, some of you have continued to use your old style classes. Though you cannot create a new class in the old style, you might still be using a class that you created several years ago, and have been replacing the students in that class each semester. 

As of Monday December 1, 2025, any class that you created with the legacy style will be automatically converted to our new style. There are some key differences to be aware of, and it's important that you watch the 8 minute video below to familiarize yourself with the difference.
