How to View Ellii Grades on Canvas

Teachers can see the grades their students received on Ellii as Gradebook Items. Please follow the steps below to find out how.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1

Once students complete a full assignment (finish all tasks from a lesson or watch a video) on Ellii, grades are sent back to Canvas as Gradebook items.

Step 2

Every column corresponds to an assignment.

Complete assignments will display the score.
Incomplete assignments will display a dash, meaning the student started working but hasn't finished the assignment, or the student finished the assignment but there are pending tasks requiring manual grading in Ellii.

Step 3

Partial grades (e.g., student completed 3 out of 5 tasks from an assignment) won’t be sent to Canvas automatically but teachers can manually send all partial grades from a class using this button inside their Ellii class (Details > LMS > Send partial results to LMS Gradebook):
