How to Use the Lesson Page
Overview
After choosing a lesson, you will land on the Overview page.
The Overview page will also contain the Focus, Vocabulary and ELPS Correlations for the lesson.
Related materials will be shown at the bottom of the lesson page for teachers to explore.
Tasks
To preview the tasks for the lesson or screenshare with students, click on the Tasks icon or the Launch tasks button.
Select a task and click on Start to begin.
You can view the answer key for a task by clicking the grey apple.
Clicking on Add to class will send the lesson as digital homework to your class.
Clicking the Overview icon will bring you back to the lesson page.
To view the PDF file associated with the lesson, click on the PDF icon or the Open PDF button.
Clicking on a specific section will take you to the corresponding page.
In the top right corner, you can view the PDF Versions. You can chose the US, Canadian, or British version, as well as the teacher or student version (the student version does not contain the Answer Key).
To print the PDF, you can click on the Print icon.
To download the PDF, click the Download icon.
To share the PDF link with students, click on the Share PDF icon. Your students will need to be logged into their accounts to access the link.
Teachers can Zoom In/Out, Fit Page, Fit Width, or Rotate Page by selecting the appropriate icon on the PDF toolbar.
Teachers can also use our annotation tools (Type, Draw, Erase) while presenting in class or screensharing online.
To select an audio track, click on the Audio tracks button.
You can download the audio files by clicking on the Download icon.
Once a track has been selected, teachers can click on the Play button.
Clicking the Overview icon will bring teachers back to the lesson page.
Add to Class
Clicking on Add to class will send the lesson as digital homework to students.
After assigning the lesson, teachers will be automatically returned to Overview. Clicking on our logo brings teachers back to Ellii.
